These maps show the number of notifiable occupational diseases by district reported from 1998 to 2007. Under the Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance (Cap. 509), there are 51 notifiable occupational diseases. Medical practitioners are required to notify the Labour Department all suspected notifiable occupational diseases. Data were obtained from Labour Department, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. The following class intervals are defined: 0 = nil; 1 – 10 cases reported; 11 – 20 cases reported.

From 1998 to 2007, the overall reported number of cases of notifable occupational diseases has remained small with little variation among districts, of which North and Islands districts have reported zero case in some years..

這一組地圖顯示由一九九八年至二零零七年須呈報職業病個案分佈，按區議會分區數字繪製，數值區間分為0; 1至10; 11至20三個等級。數據源自香港政府勞工處。

跟據香港法例第509章《職業安全及健康條例》，當中列明五十一項須呈報的職業病，醫生在遇上任何懷疑案例時必須呈報勞工處。圖示由一九九八年至二零零七年期間，各區須呈報職業病總數持續在低位，各區之間分別不大，而離島區和北區曾經出現零個案。
