These maps show, with data classified by equal intervals, the distribution of the total number of reported adult drug users by district of residence from 1998 to 2007. Adult drug users refer to those who are 21 years old or above. Data were obtained from the Central Registry of Drug Abuse (CRDA), Narcotics Division, Security Bureau, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.

From 1998 to 2007, the number of reported adult drug users declined slowly. Central and Western, Wan Chai, Sai Kung and the Islands were the districts with low number of reported cases, while Shum Shui Po and Yau Tsim Mong districts had a generally higher number over the years.

這一組地圖顯示由一九九八年至二零零七年每年曾被呈報吸食毒品的成年人總數，以等值區間按區議會分區居住地繪製。成年人士的定義是年齡二十一歲或以上。數據源自香港政府保安局禁毒處轄下藥物濫用資料中央檔案室。

由一九九八年至二零零七年，總呈報吸食毒品成年人士個案續年減少。當中以中西區、灣仔、西貢及離島區呈報個案較少，而深水埗及油尖旺區則相對較多。
