A complete course of hepatitis B vaccination normally takes a total of three injections. The second dose is given one month after the first one, and the third dose is given 5 months after the second one. These maps show the percentage coverage of the third dose of Hepatitis B vaccine worldwide from 1998 to 2007 in children <1year of age. Data were obtained from World Health Organization.

The following class intervals are defined: 1%- 49%= Low; 50%- 85%= moderate; 86%- 99%= high.

From 1998 to 2007, the overall vaccine coverage against Hepatitis B in the world had increased.
