These maps show the yearly number of newly reported young drug users by district of residence from 1998 to 2007, with data classified by equal intervals. Young drug users refer to those who are below 21 years old. Source of data was the Central Registry of Drug Abuse (CRDA), Narcotics Division, Security Bureau, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.
Throughout the 10-year period, Wan Chai, and Central and Western Districts in Hong Kong Island had the lowest number of cases reported, while those in the New Territories consistently gave a higher number. Overall, the reported cases have maintained steadily.
