These maps show the yearly number of ketamine users by district of residence from 2003 to 2008. Source of data was the Central Registry of Drug Abuse (CRDA), Narcotics Division, Security Bureau, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.
Compared to Kowloon and New Territories, Hong Kong Island gave a lower number of reported ketamine users. Over the years, reports from Kowloon City, Tsuen Wan, Wan Chai and Western Districts have remained under 150 per year. On the other hand, there was gradual increase in Kwun Tong and Northern District throughout the 6-year period. Among all districts. Yuen Long in the New Territories had the highest number of ketamine users in the recent years.
